City History
The city of Limeira is the birthplace of private initiative European immigration to Brazil and this can be seen through several historical sites located in farms, which is consolidating the position of the city as an option for those who enjoy historical tourism or academic research, also supporting a social interactionist constructivist pedagogic proposal as this facilitates the study of history through the observation of the social and economic setting represented by the farms located in the region, during the historical process and which are fully protected by cultural and historical patrimony protection laws.
